Robbie Williams has revealed that his wife Ayda, who is five months pregnant with the couple’s second child, is expecting a baby boy. The couple have one daughter, Theodora Rose (Teddy), who is now two.
Robbie and Ayda learned the sex of their baby after Ayda had an ultrasound scan in a private Los Angeles clinic. The sonographer wrote down the baby’s gender on a slip of paper and put it in an envelope so that the couple could choose whether to open it or not later on. They then, apparently, went out for dinner and opened the envelope after dessert.
A proud Robbie then told his Twitter followers, “Ayda and I are delighted to announce that Theodora Rose Williams is going to be a big sister. RW xxx”
Robbie’s Swings Both Ways tour ends with a gig in Australia in September, after which he will then fly back to the UK ahead of the baby’s birth in October so that he can spend the last few weeks of Ayda’s pregnancy taking care of her.
