Danielle Armstrong has given birth to a beautiful baby girl with her fiancé Tom Edney. Danielle shared a picture of the new baby on Instagram and revealed her adorable name.

She wrote: "My World Is Complete... Orla Mae Edney Born May 26th at 16:30 pm, Weighing A Healthy 8Ibs11 #mybabygirl#daughter#myworld."

Danielle's baby had been overdue for more than a week before the couple made the announcement. They had been eagerly awaiting their daughter in lockdown and even suggested that Danielle could be induced if the baby didn't appear soon.

The new parents got together after being friends for 22 years before realising their romantic potential. Danielle confirmed she’d found love again with her childhood sweetheart in September 2019, just after splitting from her boyfriend of two-and-a-half years, Daniel Spiller. And they confirmed they were expecting just two months into their whirlwind romance. The couple then got engaged while on their romantic babymoon in Dubai in March, when Danielle was seven months pregnant.

The former TOWIE star admitted that her pregnancy hasn’t been the easiest, as she spent a lot of time in therapy after she opened up about battling prenatal depression. Her first trimester was marred by severe morning sickness and she would often find herself sat on the sofa and crying for hours. She told Closer magazine: "People don’t often speak about the downsides of pregnancy but hundreds of women messaged me saying they're pleased I spoke out – it’s called prenatal depression and it’s really common." She continued: "The second trimester has been so much better.

Congratulations to Danielle and Tom!
