When to Ask for Help
by Your Baby ClubWe hope that reading this book has helped you prepare yourself for pregnancy, birth and beyond. We hope some of those nerves you’ve been feeling in preparation for your big day have begun to settle and you’re feeling more confident about the parenting journey that lies ahead of you.
If you still have any questions surrounding conceiving, issues with breastfeeding, what to do and avoid throughout the pregnancy, birth and beyond, or other general queries, then why not get your questions answered. You can submit your questions to our ‘Ask the Fans’ Facebook postings to get advice from other parents or get an expert’s opinion by jumping onto one of our Instagram and Facebook live events or Q&As to give you the most comprehensive answers possible.
Remember to contact your midwifery team throughout your pregnancy, if you experience any of the following symptoms:
- Unusual or severe cramping.
- Unexpected changes in the movement of your baby.
- Difficulty breathing.
- Bleeding.
- Leaking fluid.
- A high temperature.
- Persistent and/or severe vomiting.
- Persistent and/or severe diarrhoea.
- Fainting or dizziness.
Don't forget, we have a team of experts on hand to answer your pregnancy and baby questions. However, if you are worried about your personal health or pregnancy the place to go is your midwife of GP. If you are unsure as to whether a symptom you or your baby is feeling is serious, contact your doctor, as this will allow early identification of any issues (if there are any) or you will be reassured that everything is OK.
